Guild Wars<\/b><\/p>\n

Guild Wars is a free to play CORPG (Competitive On-line Role-playing Game) from developer Arenanet. It is based around player skill more than time spent playing and balanced PvP (Player vs Player) combat, though that’s not to say that there’s no RPG hack and slash PvP (Player vs Environment) campaign to play through.<\/p>\n

Guild Wars used a campaign system for it’s first 3 games. Guild Wars prophecies, the original, Guild Wars Factions, the second game, and Guild Wars Nightfall, the third game, and Guild Wars: Eye of the North, the first, and probably only (since they are now working on Guild Wars 2) expansion pack. The 3 campaigns are all stand alone. They do not require each other to play through, but can be combined so a single character can play through all of them. Each has a starting area for new players. Eye of the North has no starting area and requires one of the previous games.<\/p>\n
